2. What personal data do we process?

Sky People can process the following personal data:

For contact requests, quote requests, and consultation meetings:
Name, company name, function, email address, phone number, project information, project location details, and the content of your message.

With clients, principals, and suppliers:
Name, company name, business contact details, invoice details, payment details, contract details, correspondence, and data required for project execution, planning, administration, and relationship management.

For rope access specialists, freelancers, temporary workers, or applicants:
Name, address, contact details, date of birth, resume, work experience, certificates, educational background, security and access documentation, identity verification as legally permitted or required, availability, time tracking, and data required for planning, contracting, administration, and execution of work.

For website visitors:
IP address, browser data, device data, pages visited, click behavior, date and time of visit, and data collected via cookies or similar techniques.

3. What do we use personal data for?

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Answering questions and contact requests;
  2. preparing and following up on quotations;
  3. planning consultation meetings;
  4. Executing assignments and projects;
  5. engaging and scheduling rope access specialists;
  6. bookkeeping and invoicing;
  7. fulfillment of contractual obligations;

For example, when we execute an order, prepare a quote, deploy a specialist, or fulfill agreements with a client, supplier, or contractor.

Sky People only shares personal data when necessary for our service provision, business operations, or legal obligations. We may share data with:

  • clients, principals, or project partners when necessary for project execution;
  • hired specialists, subcontractors, or suppliers;
  • safety, certification, or authorizing bodies when required for on-site work;

We enter into data processing agreements with parties that process personal data on our behalf, where necessary. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Transfer outside the European Economic Area

We prefer to process personal data within the European Economic Area. When personal data is transferred to parties outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or other measures permitted under the GDPR. The European Commission also designates these safeguards as instruments for the international transfer of personal data.

7. How long do we keep personal data?

We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

In principle, we observe the following retention periods:

  • Contact and quote requests: a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless a business relationship is established;
  • Customer and project data: as long as necessary for the execution of the assignment and thereafter according to legal or administrative retention periods;
  • Billing and administration data: 7 years, in accordance with fiscal retention obligations;
  • application data: maximum 4 weeks after completion of the procedure, or maximum 1 year with consent;
  • Data of hired specialists or contractors: as long as necessary for collaboration, administration, contractual obligations, and legal retention requirements;
