In the past period, we were allowed to perform inspection work at Enecogen on the Maasvlakte, a modern power plant that produces electricity and heat with high efficiency, thereby contributing to a reliable and more sustainable energy supply. In the room where the turbine is located, we checked all bolted connections and retorqued them at the correct time. Due to the constant vibrations generated during the operation of the turbine engine, connections can lose their tension over time. Regular inspection and reassembly are therefore essential for the safety, reliability, and continuity of the installation.
